2 cups Basmati rice (Calmati-202)
1 yellow onion, chopped
⅓ cup butter melted and sifted

1 tsp. cumin seed
½ cup green peas
2½ cups water

DIRECTIONS:
Rinse rice twice and soak for 30 min. in water. Put butter in frying pan, heat to medium. Add onions and cumin seed. Stir and fry to light brown. Add peas and salt and stir.
Now put rice with water and browned onions and cumin in rice cooker and cook. Let it cool for 20 minutes. Rice is ready to serve.
